New Majority seeks to have open and honest dialogue. No issue will be subjugated

have in common and bring to light those things which brings us at odds with

WHAT
SHOULD BARACK DO WITH HILLARY?
By
Paul F.Bennett
If he's as smart as he's
demonstrated thus far, President Barack Hussein Obama will be joined on the
presidential podium on inaugural day, January 20, 2009 with Vice President
Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Before you Obama supporters (of which I was one early on before it became
a fashion statement) get yourselves in a spasm, ask these questions; what
would you want if the roles were reversed? What if Mr. Obama had won Florida
and Michigan, but did not have all the votes counted (It must be mentioned
that in Florida, it was the decision of the Republican state controlled government
which decided to move Florida's primary date up, thus causing both the national
Democratic and Republican Party leadership to punish all Floridians by not
having all their votes count)? What if he'd finished in a virtual dead heat
with Ms. Clinton in the popular vote, only to see his presidential aspirations
gone asunder thanks to so-called super-delegates?
What's your (truthful unadulterated Jesus Christ) answer?
You'd want Mr. Obama to be the first African American vice president in American
history. Mr. Obama should not deny that "first" designation to Ms. Clinton.
Besides, Mr. Obama needs Ms. Clinton to win.
Forget all the so called pundits who have created numerous scenarios of how
Mr. Obama can win without the junior U.S. senator from New York State. They
don't know what the Hell they are talking about. So, just observe my words.
I know what the Heaven I'm talking about.
1. Vice Presidential nominee Clinton will bring the White woman vote with
her. And the overwhelming majority of them will vote for Obama-Clinton.
2. Vice Presidential nominee Clinton will bring the Latino vote with her.
And the overwhelming majority of them will vote for Obama-Clinton.
3. Vice Presidential nominee Clinton will garner at least 40 percent of the
poor White vote for Obama-Clinton.
4. Vice Presidential nominee Clinton can be the attack dog (see Dick Cheney)
for Obama-Clinton, while Mr. Obama stays presidential and above it all.
5. And yes, Vice Presidential nominee Clinton is married to a guy named Bill,
whose crimes against humanity should be chalked up to a husband who simply
wanted his wife to be the first female president in American history. There
is no doubt that many African and Latino Americans viewed President Clinton
as arguably the best president in American history. And that perception should
not be declared illegitimate so quickly.
6. Add all of this with the fact that Mr. Obama has already done well with
the youth vote (of every race), African Americans, college educated Whites,
and White men, and what you have folks come November is a landslide of historic
proportions.
Many presidents chose vice presidents who would carry on their policies and
be ready to assume the mantel of leadership in an emergency. There can be
no doubt that Mr. Obama and Ms. Clinton are ideological twins, and Ms. Clinton
is just as qualified to be president as Mr. Obama.
However, because Brutus (Ms. Clinton) has a lean and hungry eye for Caesar's
throne (the soon to be President Obama) it's best he set perimeters early
on.
1. She must promote his policies. Mr. Obama has already said that he does
not want people in his administration to be "yes" human beings. And everyone
knows Ms. Clinton has a mind of our own. But at the end of the day, she must
accept his authority as Commander-in-Chief and carry out his orders.
2. President Obama would be smart to keep his vice president traveling across
the globe. Do not let her get too close to power.
3. Let her know that if she gets out of line at any time, her behind will
be out of the Admiral's House (look it up).
4. Be weary of Ms. Clinton's supporters. Many of them are as nutty as Mr.
Obama's legions.
The Democratic fight for the presidency has been the most exciting and invigorating
primary race in the history of American politics. Ms. Clinton brought out
old school Democrats in an almost record number, while Mr. Obama set a record
for the most primary votes in American history thanks to first; the young
20-40 year old White vote, most of who went to school with African Americans
and discovered we weren't that bad; and secondly, a record number of African
Americans who finally demonstrated what can happen if unity takes place in
the Black community.
Now is the time to bring these rooms together and place them all in that great
mansion called America where for the first time in its history, we can have
a president and a vice president who are truly judged according to content
and character.
